Abstract

Phosphatidic acid and phosphatidyl serine extract Pu⁴⁺ Am³⁺ and Cm³⁺ into heptane:butan-1-ol. It is suggested that such phospholipids might act as ionophores and thus facilitate the uptake of these cations into liver cells.
