Abstract

In our paper that provided a summary of ICRP Publication 152 [1] as a memorandum, the models for leukaemia were not correctly described. The excess absolute risk (EAR) model model calculates the risk per 10 000 persons per year, and the explanation for the parameter ß in table 3.4 was intended to indicate that point. However, the description ‘Excess cases per 10 000 persons per year per Gy for time since exposure centred at 25 years’ is not correct as ß is a coefficient for the linear term of dose in the linear-quadratic model. The model for the baseline incidence also yields the number of cases per 10 000 persons per year, but there was no description about it. Corrections should be made as follows. Page 4, table 3. (Table Presented).
