Abstract

This chapter addresses anomalies of the left ventricular outflow tract, with emphasis on echocardiographic evaluation. In general, lesions are divided into those causing obstruction of the left ventricular outflow tract and those involving the aortic root, such as sinus of Valsalva aneurysm, aortic valve cusp prolapse and aortico-left ventricular tunnel.
