Description

Making a difference: A day of networking and hands-on, collaborative learning as we translate research activities into measurable impacts

During the day we will hear from Dr Tamika Heiden, founder of the Research Impact Academy, about "what is impact?". We will also hear from Richard Gleave, Director of Scientific Strategy and Development, about UKHSA’s work to demonstrate the value of its scientific work as a government science agency.

There will be opportunities to network and time to work through real-world examples to enable you to consider the impact of your research.

This event is hosted by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Health Protection Research Unit (HPRU) in Chemical and Radiation Threats and Hazards (Kerry Broom) and UKHSA's Research Support and Governance Office (Sarah Fahle).
